CHILDCARE

  • Pre-service: prepare snack; set up toys
  • Serve snack
  • Interact with kids during play time [with toys or using craft supplies from resource room]
  • Take attendance for the evening
  • Clean up: vacuum & wipe down tables, empty trash

availability: Sunday evenings [2x/mo.] | 5:30pm – 8pm

SOUND TECH

*Some experience recommended

  • Assist musicians – prepare/set-up equipment
  • Set/maintain sound levels during services
  • Record and finalize CD of the service
  • Assist media tech with sound system
  • Tear down/put away equipment after service

availability: Sunday evenings [2x/mo.] | 4pm – 7:30pm

LIGHTING TECH

  • Assist the media/sound team by using the lighting console to create appropriate environments for service [training provided, if necessary]

availability: Sunday evenings [2x/mo.] | 4pm – 7:30pm

MEDIA TECH

  • Assist the tech and worship teams through visual media, such as full screen lyrics, sermon videos, sermon graphics
  • Run basic lighting cues

WORSHIP TEAM

  • Musicians & singers to lead 4D congregation in worship

availability: Sunday evenings [2x/mo.] | 4pm – 7:30pm

SERVICE CRASH TEAM

Work together with 4D leaders and other members of the team to prepare the NextGen center for the young adult worship service

GREETER

  • Set-up welcome desk
  • Prepare first-time visitor gift, as necessary
  • Welcome first-time visitors/present gift
  • Assist with questions
  • Take attendance

USHER

  • Receive, count and deposit the offering
  • Record head-count on attendance sheet
  • Assist with setting up extra chairs, as necessary
  • Help attendees needing assistance during service

FLOATER

  • Assist with children [helping w/check-in]
  • Assist with attendance in computer system

CAFE

  • Prepare refreshments for the evening
  • Set-up tables [tablecloths, paper products, etc]
  • Clean up: washing dishes, cleaning tables, emptying trash

SET-UP/TEAR-DOWN

  • Set-up chairs
  • Assist with clean-up before and after service
  • Set-up snack table
  • Help to prepare room for evening service [additional decorations, as necessary]
  • Set-up first time visitor area, as necessary
