Family Fusion is one of GT’s largest community outreaches geared toward families with elementary aged children. this amazing event is held on a Friday evening in the Fall and Spring.
GREETER TEAM

- Greet families and provide a welcoming atmosphere
- Distribute raffle tickets to each family
- Direct families to the worship center for the Family Fusion performance
- Help maintain a safe environment as families enter and leave the worship center
GAME TEAM

- Greet and give directions to families as they enter the game areas
- Monitor the inflatable activities for safety by providing instructions to the participants
- Help clean up the game area after final show snack team
- Help prepare food and set-up snack bar
- Serve snacks and beverages to attendees
- Help clean up snack bar areas after final show worship/dance team [auditions held annually]
- Lead families with energy and enthusiasm in worshipping God
- Encourage families to sing and dance
- Meet weekly for practice, four weeks prior to family fusion performance
PRODUCER

- Choose scripts and drama team
- Provide leadership for the show and the drama director
- Connect relationally to a team of volunteers to ensure the best possible family experience
TECH TEAM

- Enhance the drama and worship experience through sound, lights, graphics and video
- Enhance the game areas with music and provide sound assistance for emcees
DRAMA TEAM

- Work with the drama director to perform skits pertaining to the show’s virtue
- Connect the Bible story with the virtue in an effective way
BACKSTAGE TEAM

- Communicate with the production team
- Manage drama team, traffic and props for each segment of the production
SET-UP/TEAR-DOWN “FUSE” TEAM

- Provide assistance in setting up and tearing down stage, atrium and game areas
- Receive instructions from coordinator for details
NOVELTY SALES TEAM

- Create an area in the atrium to sell fun, inexpensive novelty items
- Sell items during pre-show
- Help pack up unsold items and clean up atrium
COLLECTION TEAM

- Create an area in the atrium for the collection of items for a local non-profit organization
- Greet, thank and receive donated items from families
- Pack items at the end of the evening to be ready to give to non-profit
- Provide a plan to get items to non-profit organization fundraising team
- Request and collect donated prizes from local businesses to be given out to families during the show and in the game rooms
- Solicit donations from local businesses for snack bar items [hot dogs, soda, candy, etc.]
TEAM COORDINATORS

- Team coordinators are needed to give instructions to the many teams volunteering for Family Fusion
- A team coordinator is needed for each of the following teams: greeter, games, snack, novelty sales and non-profit collection
