Everyone has gifts and talents. We believe that God has created each of us with these unique gifts and talents and He wants us to use them to serve Him.
Our perfect model for serving is Jesus Christ himself. The Bible says, “Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” [Mark 10:42-45]
At GT, it is our desire that our church family would want to serve God, using their unique gifts and abilities, and that serving would be a joy and a thrill! Through S.E.R.V.E., we seek to bring our church family together under a common set of guidelines that will help us measure our effectiveness in serving each other, the community, and the world for Jesus!
