If so, Driven Ministries is pleased to offer a 12-week course divided into two 6-week sessions. We will be looking at a variety of different topics on the parent/teen relationship. We will discuss things such as: how to understand one another, healthy biblical parenting responses, opening communication lines, accepting and forgiving one another, and much more. Bridge of Hope is a national organization that brings together professional staff and trained church-based mentoring groups to empower homeless and at-risk single mothers to attain: permanent housing, financial self-sufficiency, life-changing friendships and growth and wholeness. There is some interest among our church family n establishing a Bridge of Hope mentoring group at Glad Tidings. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Karen Troutman for information. (Note: This group will only move forward if we have the necessary number of committed participants. Training and on-going support from the local Bridge of Hope chapter is part of the group experience).
