OUTDOOR WATER BAPTISM
We will be  celebrating an outdoor Water Baptism on Sunday, August 29th at 4 pm.  If you have not been baptized in water, we encourage you to follow the Lord in this command.  There will be a mandatory Water Baptism class on Wednesday, August 11th at 7 pm in Room 202.  Details regarding the location and directions will be given out during the class.  Any questions, please contact Pastor Rob at robmcsurdy@gtaog.org.

ATTENTION ALL GT LIFE GROUP LEADERS!
If you haven’t already submitted your updates and changes for the Fall Life Groups Directory, please do so ASAP.  We are making some modifications to the Directory this time around, so we need to get an early jump on having all of your info in order to start working on the book.  So please email Courtney Rees  at courtneyrees@gtaog.org with a description of what your Group will be studying in the Fall so we can get started.  Thanks!

MISSIONS TRIP OPPORTUNITY - NAMIBIA, AFRICA
We are excited to announce a missions trip opportunity to serve the people of Namibia, Africa.  The tentative dates for the trip are October 17-29 (could change by a few days depending on flight availability).  Ministry opportunities for this trip include school assemblies, VBS programs, hospital visitation, home visitation for AIDS patients, church services and outreach services, door-to-door visitation and prayer, spending time ministering to kids at the Joy Centre (children’s home). The trip cost will be $2500-$3000 (cost includes everything except passport, vaccinations, and personal spending money).  If you are interested in participating in this missions trip opportunity, a non-refundable deposit of $400 and trip application will be due at the end of July.  Please contact Pastor Courtney (courtneygood@gtaog.org or 610.678.0266, ext. 228) for more information.

LEARN TO SHARE YOUR FAITH WITH CONFIDENCE—SPECIAL EVANGELISM TRAINING COMING TO GT THIS AUGUST
As a follow-up to this weekend’s message of “Stories of Salvation,” we are excited to announce that Don Sunshine, speaker representative for The Pocket Testament League, will be here to provide evangelism training for our church family.  Don will be speaking during our weekend services on August 7 & 8 and then will provide more in-depth training on Wednesday August 11 and 18.  This training is designed to motive and equip you to share your faith as a way of life.  Look for more details in the coming months about this incredible opportunity for our church family!

HEALTH FAIR COMING TO GT!
Mark your calendar now for the Renew, Transform, Take Charge Holistic Wellness Event here at GT!  Come join us on Saturday, Sept. 11 any time between 10am-4pm to learn more about how you can make healthier lifestyle choices.  There will be many vendors here to display products, as well as seminars and presentations about healthy living.  Also, if you are a Holistic Wellness provider or professional of some kind and would be interested in being one of our vendors or in providing a workshop of some sort, please contact our event coordinator, Lois Theisinger, by email at LMTheisinger@gmail.com or by phone at 610.670.6254.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY - TO RESUME MEETING IN THE FALL
Celebrate Recovery is a Group designed for anyone who is feeling hopeless because of some kind of life-controlling struggle, and you seem to be living in doubt?  The Group seeks to explore God’s healing power through His Word, while applying Christ-centered principles to our lives.  We will discover God’s will to restore us and give us new life through His Son, Jesus Christ.  Most importantly, we will develop a closer & stronger personal relationship with God and others.  Please watch the Newsletter for updates in late summer for a start date.

We will meet in Atrium at 5:55pm and attend the service together as a group. After the service the group will head up to room 208 for a time of fellowship as we discuss the sermon and how it applies to our lives as single adults.
