ABOUT US:

Loving Arms is an interdenominational support group for men and women with cancer.  This group cares for the emotional and spiritual needs of cancer patients and their caregivers.  We are registered with the American Cancer Society and minister to anyone, whether you attend Glad Tidings or not.  Information available about the disease, treatment and side effects.


WHO LEADS THIS GROUP:

Sharon Gruber, a cancer survivor, leads this ministry.  Many men and women who attend are from our Glad Tidings family, our extended families, friends, and those who have been referred to Loving Arms by the American Cancer Society.

 

MORE ABOUT LOVING ARMS:

Through this caring support group, men and women have found both strength and encouragement from the Lord and from each other as they fight against cancer.  For many, their involvement in the Loving Arms ministry has resulted in victory over fear, depression, discouragement and cancer itself.

The ministry maintains a prayer chain whereby prayer support is immediately available for those in need.  In addition, all members of the support group are added to the Glad Tidings prayer chain.


LOVING ARMS provides a "comfort zone" for men and women who need comfort.  The members of the group are truly there for each other, whether it be accompanying those undergoing treatment, visiting in the hospitals, or visiting in the home when treatment requires rest.


LOVING ARMS is the love of Christ in action in a very real and powerful way as we reach out to minister to all people.
