UPDATE ON PASTOR BRYAN FROM EXECUTIVE PASTOR SCOTT KRAMER // Dear Church Family, I wanted to give you an update on Pastor Bryan today. We so appreciate your amazing concern and steadfast prayer for Pastor Bryan and for his family. I was with him for about 9 hours yesterday, and a few more this morning. He was taken off sedation yesterday morning and continues to make steady progress in all areas of recovery. As of this morning he was sitting up and communicating. Please continue to pray for God’s wisdom and grace as he progresses in his awareness of his situation. As we mentioned in yesterday’s post, at this point there probably won't be as much to report on a regular basis, because fortunately the changes in his recovery updates will be less day to day and more week to week. As significant changes come about, we will provide updates. We are working very hard to honor both Pastor Bryan's and the family's privacy during this time of recovery, while at the same time keeping our church family apprised of important updates. We love you all and again want to thank you for the way you have pulled together in amazing displays of care and support! Blessings as we serve Jesus together, Scott Kramer

KOCH FAMILY FUND // Many of you have asked how you can support the Koch family during this difficult time. First and foremost, we ask for your continued prayers for healing and strength. Secondarily, because many are asking how they can help practically, the church has set up a fund so that you can make a monetary donation to help provide financial assistance for Pastor Bryan’s continued medical needs, household expenses for the family, and any other needs that may arise during his recovery. You can donate by check or cash by going to any Tompkins Vist Bank location or by mailing a check to Tompkins Vist Bank, 1199 Berkshire Blvd. Wyomissing, PA 19610. Checks should be made payable to “Koch Family Fund.”

Update (6/10/15 10:49am)

Pastor Bryan had a good night last night. The nurse didn't need to call the doctor at all. They were able to reduce his sedation medication last night for a time and he opened his eyes and nodded his head.

Update (6/9/15 7:55pm)

Pastor Bryan is out of surgery and overall, the report is good. They finished exploratory surgery in the abdomen area and addressed some concerns to help drainage. The orthopedic team looked at his left leg and feel good about its condition, which is important for the possibility of prosthetics in the future. Pastor Bryan will undergo another surgery on Friday to stabilize his right hip. His brain continues to look good on scans. Pray specifically that his surgery on Friday would go well, for the health of his lungs and continued prayers for the family and the medical team treating Bryan.

Update (6/9/15 10:00am)

Please pray for the following: Pastor Bryan will be having surgery on his abdominal area today sometime between 1 & 5pm. Continue to pray for strength for Pastor Bryan's lungs today. Be in prayer for Pastor Bryan as he recovers and becomes aware of his situation and of Lynn's passing. We continue to be overwhelmed by the love and support of people from around the globe and are encouraged to know that people are praying from all of the corners of the world.

Update (6/8/15 8:56am)

We just received word that Pastor Bryan will be undergoing surgery tomorrow in the abdomen area. As more information becomes available, we will continue to keep you informed.
We wanted to provide an update regarding Pastor Bryan’s current condition so that we can all be united together in prayer. We are thanking God that during the accident, Pastor Bryan did not sustain any significant head injuries. There are some injuries to the abdominal area that doctors have some concern over. Last night he had surgery to remove his left leg above the knee. We need to pray that no infection would occur. Please pray specifically for the following: Please continue to respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time. Since there is no visitation at the hospital, the GT Church Worship Center will remain open today for prayer until 8 pm. Any updates that the staff obtains will be communicated via the GT Website as well as all GT social media channels. “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
